The internet is a great place to extend your efforts to build your Network Narketing Business – especially social media websites and networks such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc. As such, we’re often asked what tip would we give to a “newbie” in social media? The answer is simple: be yourself. Social media is simply an extension of you, an extra avenue to network with others interested in what you have to share. So where do you begin?
You begin by sharing, not selling. Every time you share something useful, your value as a member of your network goes up. Remember this as it is the key:
You must give before receiving!
Each time you take a minute to comment on someone’s status, be it celebrating a success or expressing concern, your social capital goes up. Here are 3 characteristics to help you get started.
1. Be engaging: Have a point of view that evokes the response, “That’s interesting, tell me more.”
2. Be genuine: If you’re passionate and truly believe in what you’re doing, selling, pitching, or talking about, others will be too.
3. Be relevant: It’s simple; don’t talk about your cat in network of dog lovers. The more relevant the idea, more interested people will be.
That’s it. Nothing complicated. Stay focused on those 3 key points and you will see success with social media!
